Car
If you’re planning to travel to the Bolton CSCS Test Centre by car, the test centre is located close to the town centre off Spa Road at a junction flanked by a steepled church. Follow signs for the Bolton Technology Exchange.
Parking
There are no parking facilities at the Bolton CSCS Test Centre. There is pay & display on street parking opposite the technology park on New Holder Street which costs £2.00 for 2 hours and is a 3 minute walk away (0.2 miles). Parking is also available on St. Edmund Street which is 8 minutes walk away (0.5 miles) at a cost of £1.50 for 2 hours. For up to date information about parking, click here.
Bus
There are several bus lines that stop near Queensbrook. These are: 574, 919, and 968. The nearest bus stop is on Queens Park, which is a 2 minute walk from the test centre. The Bolton Bus Interchange is also just 13 minutes’ walk away (0.7 miles).
Train
The nearest train station to the test centre is Bolton Train Station on Trinity Street which is approximately 15 minutes’ walk away (0.8 miles).
Other Information
The test centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. The test centre is on the ground floor with disabled access available via the main entrance which is flat and level from the roadway.
