Car
If you’re planning to travel to the Reading CSCS Test Centre by car, the test centre is located in the centre of Reading. If you are coming from the direction of the Train Station continue onto Forbury Road, go through 2 roundabouts taking the 2nd exit at each to stay on Forbury Road, take a slight right onto King’s Road and then use the left lane to turn right onto Queen’s Road. The test centre will be on your left and can be found inside Havell House.
Parking
There are no parking facilities at the Reading CSCS Test Centre and there is clamping in operation near to the test centre office. The nearest parking facilities are on Queens Road, around a 3 minute walk from the test centre and costs £4.40 to park for 2 hours. There is also parking at Saxon Court which is a 10 minute walk from the test centre and costs £2 to park for 2 hours. For up to date information about parking, click here.
Bus
There are several bus lines that stop near Queens Road. These are: 3, 3B, 9, 10, and 10A. The nearest bus stop is on Kings Road (Stop MH), which is a 6 minute walk from the test centre.
Train
The nearest train station to the test centre is Reading Train Station which is on Station Hill. This is 0.6 miles from the test centre and takes approximately 12 minutes to walk from here.
Other Information
The test centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. The test centre has full disabled access with step-free access to the building and an internal lift inside. To enquire about disabled parking please contact Pearson VUE contact centre on 0800 093 4520. There are no common waiting areas in the building for visitors accompanying candidates.
