Car
If you’re planning to travel to the Oxford CSCS Test Centre by car, the test centre is located in the centre of Oxford near to Christ Church Meadow. It is just across Folly Bridge on the left hand side on St Aldates at number 58. To access the test centre you will need to press buzzer 9 for entry.
Parking
There are no parking facilities at the Oxford CSCS Test Centre. Due to the limited parking in Oxford city centre the test centre recommends using one of the Park and Ride facilities available to access the centre of Oxford. If you need to park in the centre, the nearest car park is a 14 minute walk from the test centre at Westgate on Norfolk Street. It costs £4 to park here for 2 hours. Another option is to park on Oxpens Road, this is a 16 minute walk from the test centre and also costs £4 to park for 2 hours. For up to date information about parking, click here.
Bus
There are several bus lines that stop near St Aldates. These are: 13, 16, 16A, 34 gold, 35, and 300 (park and ride). The nearest bus stop is outside the Police Station on St Aldates, which is a 1 minute walk from the test centre. Oxford Bus Station is a 13 minute walk from the test centre.
Train
The nearest train station to the test centre is Oxford Train Station which is located on Park End Street. This is 0.9 miles from the test centre and takes approximately 17 minutes to walk from here.
Other Information
The test centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. The building has disabled access, there is a lift in the right hand corner when entering the building. Entry to the building is via an intercom system – press buzzer 9 to gain access and then you will find the test centre on level 3. There are no waiting facilities for non-candidates inside the test centre.
