Car
If you’re planning to travel to the Derby CSCS Test Centre by car, the test centre is located near the centre of Derby, around a 5 minute drive from the city centre. When on Mansfield Road continue to the roundabout and then take the right onto Prime Parkway. You will find the test centre in the East Wing of the College of Health and Beauty facing St Paul’s Church.
Parking
There are no parking facilities at Derby CSCS Test Centre but there are parking spaces on the adjacent roads near to the test centre. If these are not available, the nearest car park to the test centre is on Phoenix Street which is a 12 minute walk away. It costs £2 for 2 hours to park here. There is also a car park located a 13 minute walk away on Sowter Road costing £2.50 for 2 hours. For up to date information about parking, click here.
Bus
There are several bus lines that stop near Mansfield Road. These are: 22 and 24. The nearest bus stop is by St Paul’s Church, which is a 1-2 minute walk from the test centre. The Derby Bus Station is also only a 15 minute walk away.
Train
The nearest train station to the test centre is Derby Midland Station. This is 1.6 miles from the test centre and takes approximately 25 minutes to walk. Buses also run from here.
Other Information
The test centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. There is full disabled access at the centre, wheelchair access is via the permanent raised walkway in to the test centre.
