Car
If you’re planning to travel to the Newcastle CSCS Test Centre by car, the test centre is located on the junction off Collingwood Street and Saint Nicholas Street opposite the Cathedral.
Parking
There is no on-site parking at the Newcastle CSCS Test Centre. The nearest parking facility is the uncovered Heywood’s Court car park which costs £2.80 for 2 hours and is a 4 minute walk away (0.3 miles). Bus
There are several bus lines that stop near Collingwood Street. These are: Q2 Quaylink, 10, 30, 31, 54, 91, and X97. The nearest bus stops are on Grey Street and Grainger Street, both of which are a 3-5 minute walk from the test centre. The Metro Station is also just a 12 minute walk away (0.6 miles).
Train
The nearest railway station to the test centre is Newcastle Train Station which is approximately 6 minutes’ walk away (0.3 miles).
Other Information
The test centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. There is full disabled access at the centre from the street level entrance on the ground floor followed by a lift to the first floor where the test centre is located.
